Good morning Steve and Shirley, I am a 23 year old college student majoring in criminal justice. I have been with my High School sweet heart for 5 years now. Our relationship has been great, but over the past year he has gained a ton of weight. His weight isn't a issue cause I love him for who he is. The issue is his ODOR! Ever since he has gained weight his bodily odor has become extremely STRONG. When he comes over to visit, the minute he walks in I can smell his odor! He is a clean man he showers daily, wears deodorant, and cologne. I just don't understand why I can still smell this odor on him! He literally smells like a wet dog! I've tried telling him nicely that he smells funny & he took it the wrong way to the point where he didn't talk to me for a couple days. Whenever he kisses me I can smell the odor from his breathe all over his facial hair. I guess it's from him breathing so hard. He fell asleep at my home the other night and he was breathing so hard that I can smell his breath threw out the house. When I started spraying febreeze he woke up and asked me what my problem was. I told him something smelled funny in here and I was just freshening up the air. When he uses my bathroom his scent is left in there and smells so awful. We went out to eat a couple nights ago and he was sweating so bad in the restaurant and started to smell pretty bad. I guess he can feel something is wrong cause he asked me was I not attracted to him no more. Please help me, I love this man with all my heart but his bodily odor is driving me crazy. I don't know what to do anymore, I don't want to loose him cause of this issue.
