Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus
(MRSA), is also known as oxacillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (ORSA), multiple-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, CA-MRSA (community-acquired MRSA) and HA-MRSA (hospital-acquired MRSA),[1]. It is a biological agent responsible for difficult-to-treat infections in humans. (MSSA is Methicillin-susceptible Staphylococcus aureus.) MRSA is a variation of the common bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus. It has evolved the ability to survive treatment with beta-lactam antibiotics, including penicillin and methicillin.[2] The organism is especially troublesome in hospital-acquired (nosocomial) infections

*”General” Larry Platt will reportedly perform his anthem “Pants on the Ground” to the red carpet of the Grammy Awards.

This season’s most famous “American Idol” contestant will recreate his audition before the media, paparazzi and crazed fans in the bleachers before the ceremony begins – possibly during the Grammy Pre-Telecast ceremony taking place from 1 – 4 p.m. PT at the Los Angeles Convention Center and streamed live internationally on www.grammy.com beginning at 1 p.m. PT.

TMZ.com spoke with Platt’s manager, Pinky, who said there are currently no plans for Platt to attend the actual ceremony, which will broadcast live on Jan. 31 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on CBS from 8 – 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT).

FROM RHYMESWITHSNITCH

Even though Rihanna and Chris Brown both have new music out, neither has been invited to perform at the Grammys this year. I wonder why? Could it be because of their infamous Grammy night beat down last year? Rihanna seems to think so. When asked why she wouldn't be performing at the award show this year Rhi Rhi replied, We messed their show up pretty bad last year. They might be a little mad at me."

FROM BOSSIP

After Rihanna and Matt Kemp got frisky and lovey dovey in Cabo and around L.A. these past few weeks, Rih still insists that she’s a single lady.  In a radio interview yesterday, she said:

“I am still single… I am going to the Grammys alone. I always have, even when I was dating somebody.”

While she may not be on “official” couple status with Mr. Kemp, we wouldn’t call her the typical single lady who doesn’t even have any male “company.” Regardless, Rih will be walking the Grammy red carpet solo this Sunday….for those of you wondering.

San Francisco 49ers cornerback Eric Green is accused of forcefully sodomizing a transgendered woman and she's filed a $10 million sex assault lawsuit against him [not criminal charges?] because of it. Mr. Lady says she met Eric at a casino in Scottsdale, AZ in 2009 when he still played for the Arizona Cardinals. Ms. Thang says they went back to Eric's condo, he got angry about something [maybe finding out she used to be a he?] and raped her. Lady Dude says after the rape Eric told her, "This never happened. You'd better not tell."

FROM BOSSIP

Last week, Duane Martin put Baby Blue on blast for not taking care of his responsibilities to his alleged unborn child by Tisha Campbell’s little sister. In a radio interview, he stated:

“I don’t know. I did hit her, but I didn’t hit her raw, I strapped up. One thing is though, if it is my baby, I’ma be a good daddy. I got a good daddy, so, I’ma take care of mine. “

WTH…. Did he really just say that??? Continue »
